By creating an account or using the Titra app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Titra app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Wellness App — Not Medical Advice

Titra is a consumer wellness companion app designed to help you track lifestyle habits related to GLP-1 medication use. Titra is NOT a medical device, NOT a healthcare provider, and NOT subject to HIPAA regulations.
The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. It does not provide medical advice, and nothing in the App should be interpreted as a substitute for professional medical judgment.
Always consult your prescribing physician or qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your medication, dosage, diet, or exercise regimen. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information provided by this App.
If you experience a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

3. Account & Eligibility

To use the App, you must create an account using one of the following methods: email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google. You are not required to provide your real name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to update it as necessary. Each person may only maintain one account. You are solely responsible for all activity under your account.

4. AI-Powered Features

The App uses artificial intelligence (AI) services and third-party data providers to power several features:OpenAI (AI features):• GPT-4o-mini — for the Ask AI assistant, weekly summaries, food description parsing, and personalized insights• GPT-4o (vision) — for analyzing food photos when you use the Capture Food feature• Whisper — for transcribing voice recordings into text when you use voice loggingFatSecret (nutrition database):• FatSecret Platform API — for food search, barcode lookup, autocomplete, and nutritional data retrieval when you log mealsWhen you use AI features, certain health context data (such as your medication type, wellness scores, nutrition logs, and activity data) is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. When you use voice input, your audio is sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription. FatSecret receives only food search queries and barcode numbers — no health or personal data is sent to FatSecret. All data is transmitted securely over TLS-encrypted connections.Important limitations of AI features:• AI-generated content is informational only and is NOT medical advice• AI responses may contain inaccuracies or errors• AI does not have access to your complete medical history• AI cannot diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, or replace your physician• You should verify any AI suggestions with your healthcare provider before acting on them

5. Third-Party Integrations

The App may integrate with the following third-party services, each subject to their own terms:
• Apple HealthKit (iOS) — reads and writes health metrics (steps, heart rate, sleep, weight, nutrition, etc.) with your explicit permission
• Health Connect (Android) — reads health metrics (steps, heart rate, sleep, weight, etc.) with your explicit permission
• FatSecret API — provides food and nutrition data for food logging, including search, barcode lookup, and recipe data
These integrations are optional. You can use the App without enabling any third-party connections. When you enable an integration, you authorize the App to access the specified data from that service.

6. User-Generated Health Data

All health and wellness data you enter into the App (including logs, surveys, and check-ins) is your data. You retain ownership of your data at all times.
You may export your data at any time via the App's PDF export feature and share it at your own discretion — for example, with your physician during an appointment. The App is not responsible for how exported data is used, interpreted, or acted upon after export.
Exported reports contain self-reported wellness data and are clearly labeled as such. They are not medical records.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Titra does not guarantee the accuracy of:
• Nutritional data from food databases
• AI-generated coaching or insights
• Health scores, targets, or projections
• Wearable device data synchronization
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Titra and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the App.
Titra is not liable for any adverse health outcomes resulting from your use of the App. You use the App at your own risk and are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information provided by the App.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed from our servers, except where retention is required by law.
Titra reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used in ways that may harm the App or other users.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Upon deletion request, your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law or regulation.
Some anonymized, aggregated data (which cannot identify you) may be retained for service improvement purposes.

10. Changes to Terms

Titra may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the App and request your acceptance of the updated Terms before you can continue using the App.
Your continued use of the App after accepting updated Terms constitutes your agreement to those changes. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you may delete your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
